How We Are Going To Do It

Step 1: Prepare the Mixing Bowl Put the bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for 10-15minutes to cool them as well. This will also make it easier to mix cold batter. This step is to make the cream to whip faster.

Step 2: Whip the Cream Place the heavy cream in the bowl making sure that it is frozen. In a large mixing bowl, turn the electric mixer at a medium level and beat the cream starting with the cream.

Step 3: Add Ingredients Put the cocoa powder, powdered erythritol, vanilla extract and pinch of salt to the whipped cream. They should be beaten succussively on medium-high speed until the peaks that can hold their shape , appear. Just be sure that you do not over mix, as this will result in the cream turning into butter.

Step 4: Taste and Adjust Sweetness Spoon a little mousse and then make a necessary adjustment to the sweetness, cocoa powder. If necessary fold into the mixture any extra ingredients.

Step 5: Serve or Chill Finally pour the mousse in glasses or bowls for serving; Serve chilled. best when eaten straight away but if you prefer it cooler this can be placed in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.

Step 6: Garnish Before serving you can garnish with sugar free whipped cream or shaved dark chocolate or a few fresh berries.

Tips for Perfect Keto Chocolate Mousse

Chill the Ingredients: China’s cold cream whips more efficiently and therefore heavy cream and bowl should be chilled thoroughly.

Sift the Cocoa Powder: Some cocoa powder needs to be sifted to avoid formation of lumps in the mousse.

Add a Flavor Twist: Try using peppermint extract or almond extract or a pinch of espresso powder for various flavours.

Use High-Quality Cocoa: Use good quality cocoa without added sugars for the best flavor to the food.
